Andrew J. Wilson
Andy joined CWCB in 2010 as counsel to the firm.
Active in the aviation industry for over 35 years, Andy holds a B.A. in Economics from Queen's University. In 1989, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa Law School. After articles at a national law firm and his call to the bar in 1991, he became heavily involved in legal work for the Air Canada Pilots Association, managing its litigation and representing the Association in arbitrations and before the CIRB. Ultimately serving as the ACPA President, he has had extensive dealings with senior political and regulatory officials on numerous operational and policy matters. He has also served on a variety of industry panels and on the Canadian delegation for Open Skies negotiations with both the USA and the EU. Andy was also recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Business Aviation Association. He has over 19,000 flight hours in some 50 aircraft types. In his spare time he continues to fly the Atlantic as Captain on the Boeing 767.
Andy advises and advocates for clients in all legal disputes relating to aviation. He also has extensive experience in labour law and assists on general corporate/commercial, regulatory and employment files.

Interests
When he is on the ground Andy enjoys golf, skiing, theatre, woodwork and spending time at the cottage with his wife Sheryl and teen-aged son Alexander.
